Rogue Ski Carves Its Way Into Unsuspecting Skier
In the most recent installment of completely-avoidable ski-crashes-recorded-by-onlookers-instead-of-helping-in-any-fashion, a ski video posted to Reddit/tiresaretheenemy showed a skier taken out by a ski.
Not a skier, not a monoski... a singular ski. Even more baffling is the boot, still clicked in to the binding.

Tiresaretheenemy is a comical subreddit highlighting times people get attacked by tires, and apparently, a lone ski targeting an innocent skier fit their bill.
There are many elements of this scene that just don't make sense, perhaps more and more the longer you look.
The skier "attacked" by the rogue ski appears to notice the ski, continue on her path traversing across the hill, and then moments later get taken down by the same ski she just appeared to take note of.
The ski somehow perfectly aligns to hit the middle of her ski (it can't be going fast, judging by the slope of the trail and the fact that it is unaccompanied by a body or fellow ski to make a pair) and then the woman goes into a spin, falls onto the ground, and rolls around in the snow in a daze.
There are many suspicious elements of this situation. If I were Ski-rlock Holmes, I might bet this was staged in some way.
It just seems too random to be real.
The motives are currently unknown.
