RPL Branch plans story time with Hot Pots

Hot Pots Storytime will have a frog theme in April. Ages 3-12 are invited to the Branch for a mini story time, and participants then will proceed to Hot Pots, accompanied by their guardian, to paint a froggy figurine. The event will be offered twice – 6:30 p.m. April 24 and 11 a.m. April 27. Cost is $15.99 per child, and registration is required. Kids crafting continues April 11

Rodman Public Library’s monthly Kids Crafting program continues at 4 p.m. Thursday, when ages 7-12 are invited to the Main Library to create a mixed media flower. All materials are provided for free thanks to Friends of Rodman Public Library. Registration is required at rodmanlibrary.com. Tabletop gaming returns to RPL

Rodman Public Library’s all-ages Tabletop Gaming will return at 5:30 p.m. April 24. Each month, a new game will be featured. Other games are available, and visitors are always welcome to bring their own. Light snacks will be offered, and no registration is required to attend the monthly program. Although the program is open to players of all ages, children younger than 13 should be accompanied by an adult. For more information, call 330-821-2665, ext. 217.

Camping the theme of Camp Rodman Branch

All youngsters are invited to Camp Rodman Branch this spring. Each Tuesday through May 28 at 10:30 a.m., the Rodman Branch Library’s Spring Storytime will feature a theme related to camping with Yogi Bear and Boo Boo serving as mascots. Kids will begin by searching for a picnic basket that will contain something that relates to the topic of the week. Storytime also will include lots of books, songs, and a fun activity.
