Blackbeard's Tavern, 3448 Marinatown Lane, North Fort Myers: Routine inspection Aug. 17 resulted in 13 violations with four high-priority ones and restaurant was immediately shut down. Health inspectors observed about 25 total droppings in storage and kitchen. An Aug. 18 follow-up visit found five violations, another inspection was required.

Carrabba's Italian Grill, 27220 Bay Landing Drive, Bonita Springs: Routine inspection Aug. 17 resulted in seven violations with two high-priority so restaurant was immediately shut down. Health inspectors observed 90 total rodent droppings throughout the restaurant, which complied in same day follow-up visit.
