Dolph Lundgren, 65, and Emma Krokdal, 27, are officially married!

The two tied the knot in a small ceremony at their villa in Mykonos, Greece, on July 13.

"We chose to celebrate our love by getting married at our villa in Mykonos with family and a few close friends. With both Covid and a long road of challenging medical treatments, we’ve had to push our marriage plans many times," shared Lundgren and his wife with People. "We felt it was finally the right time to celebrate love, life and happiness— in the land of the Gods."

On July 12, Lundgren subtly confirmed that the wedding was approaching when he posted a photo of himself and Krokdal in a pool in Greece, captioning it, "Tomorrow is the day. Mykonos ❤️."

The two first met at a West Hollywood Equinox gym and became friends before embracing romance over time.

Krokdal, who is a Swedish personal trainer, started dating the Rocky star during the pandemic, and in 2020, Lundgren popped the question during a visit to Sweden together.

While speaking with journalist Graham Bensinger, Lundgren said of meeting Krokdal, "I didn’t know why she liked me at all, but I suppose she saw something there. She didn’t know about my acting career, she didn’t know anything about me."

He went on to describe her as "very mature for her age," adding, "She’s had an interesting life. She came over here from a small town in Norway. She was married here and she went through a difficult divorce and went through a lot of stuff that most young people her age don’t have to deal with."

Earlier this year, Lundgren revealed to the public his experience battling cancer for the past eight years.

The actor and producer underwent multiple surgeries to remove tumors, along with other extensive treatments. Luckily, Lundgren is responding well to his current medicine and hopes to fully recover soon.
