Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson's daughter Simone has made her WWE TV debut on NXT - in a very unexpected way.

Simone, who now goes by the name Ava Raine, has been training at the WWE Performance Center since she signed with the company in February 2020. She made her NXT live debut back in July.

At Halloween Havoc on Saturday (October 22), Joe Gacy promised he would soon reveal the newest member of his cult-like faction The Schism, who had been seen wearing a yellow mask and a hoodie.

But no one could have expected who it would be. On Tuesday's edition of NXT, The Schism's newest member was unveiled as none other than Ava, joining Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid as members of Gacy's "family."

Taking off her mask, Ava said: "The love and acceptance The Schism has given me, defies any preconceived notions of who I’m supposed to be. This family completes me. I am Ava Raine."

Back in July, when Ava made her NXT live debut, she had referred to herself as the 'Final Girl' and called out Cora Jade.

Ava is WWE's first fourth-generation Superstar, with her father (The Rock), grandfather (Rocky Johnson) and great-grandfather (High Chief Peter Maivia) all having been wrestlers.

In February 2020, her famous father visited the Performance Center to give advice to the future Superstars and do a bit of training with his daughter.

Speaking about the experience, Ava said: "It was great because he got to see everyone there.

"He got to see how our culture is here, and then obviously I love spending time with him but to be able to train with him and do something I know we both love, it was great."
