The Rock Has a New Training Shoe Dropping Today — Here’s What Makes It Stand Out
The Under Armour-backed brand of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has a fresh apparel range coming soon, and with it, his Project Rock label will introduce a new training shoe.
Dropping today is the “Work Starts Here” collection, as well as the UA Project Rock 4 training shoe, also referred to as the PR4. The shoe will come in men’s and women’s sizing, and retail for $150.

The PR4 was built with lightweight and breathable mesh uppers that don’t skim on stretch and structure where you need it, as well as medial and lateral TPU midfoot straps designed to offer lockdown during demanding workouts and external TPU heel clips to stabilize the heel. Also, Under Armour equipped the shoe with its acclaimed Hovr cushioning tech, which was added to offer a “zero gravity feel” to maintain energy return, and its proprietary UA TriBase innovation to maximize ground contact.
Men’s colorways include a royal, black and white look; one in black, white and pitch gray; and a third in white, midnight green and beta hues. As for women, the main colorway is white and metallic gold.
Also dropping are Project Rock Slides in an updated red and black colorway. The slides feature impact-absorbing Charged Cushioning midsoles and Michelin Wild Gripper outsoles with traction lugs for grip. They will drop in men’s sizing and retail for $65.

What’s more, Under Armour will deliver the PR Over-Ear Headphones, the brand’s first-ever over ear headphones. They will come with a $299 price tag.
As for the “Work Starts Here” apparel, the men’s looks include sweat-activated graphics on lightweight stretch-woven fabric on shirts, tanks, shorts and more that is both tough and comfortable. For women, the lead items are the PR Woven Jacket built with water-repelling UA Storm technology, the cotton-blend Brahma Tank and the supportive PR Bra. Phrases such as “Property of the Iron Paradise,” “Iron Athletics” and “Blood Sweat Respect” are featured throughout.
