Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has a new Project Rock collection out—and along with the gear, he finally opened up the Iron Paradise's stereo to the world. Last week, he asked his Instagram followers to share their favorite tunes to sweat to, and now he's sharing the result: a 35-song playlist with everything from Dr. Dre, Godsmack, Guns N' Roses, and N.W.A. Three songs were submitted by fans, while the rest are The Rock's picks. Along with the tunes, Johnson recorded multiple 30-second clips on the collection's theme, progress, that are interspersed throughout the playlist to help motivate you through your training.

Johnson posted about the new gear drop, Through the Work, in an Instagram video, where he shows off an intense chest and triceps workout—while presumably listening to his new playlist. He works through sets of machine chest presses, pushups, cable flys, triceps pushdowns, side planks and more.

Johnson recently released his latest signature shoe with Under Armour, the PR3, as well.

But he also offers an inspiring message about progress in the video—not unlike his spots in the playlist—which seem to reference both training and wider progress in the world at large.

"Choosing progress means charging forward with purpose," he says in the video. "Choosing progress means acknowledging challenges. Choosing progress requires hard work that sees no end. While the road continues to present challenges, we choose to navigate responsibly and vigilantly. We go back smarter with more resilience and with care for those around us."

Johnson has been outspoken about social issues recently, and this message appears to reference that advocacy. He has repeatedly spoken out in support of the Black Lives Matter movement this year, calling for the Minneapolis PD officers who killed George Floyd to be held accountable, criticizing the lack of leadership from the White House during such a tumultuous period, and praising the people who are stepping up and taking action to fight for racial justice. Johnson also opened up to fans to share that he and his family tested positive for the coronavirus, and candidly shared about how they made it through the experience.
