Robin Thicke's girlfriend shamed on Instagram after revealing she's pregnant with baby No. 2

Leave it to mommy-shamers to ruin a happy announcement. Robin Thicke‘s girlfriend, April Love Geary, revealed she and the “Blurred Lines” singer are expecting their second child together and the model’s comment section on her Instagram page turned into a war zone.

Geary — who gave birth to daughter Mia Love Thicke in February — was criticized online for having another baby what some deemed to be “too soon” after giving birth. “Wow! Don’t [sic] your doctor didn’t tell you, your body need time to recover?” one woman wrote. “You ruined the best years in your life.”

Another negative person commented on the sweet video, saying, “Give your body time to heal hell keep your legs closed damn make this your lats [sic] one wtf.”

The 23-year-old model wasn’t afraid to fire back at trolls.

“Couldn’t even wait a full year… people forever ruining their lives with kids,” another woman wrote. Geary replied, “Who ruins their lives? What the f***?”

Instagram users also left hateful messages about the fact that Geary and Thicke are not married. One person wrote, “They don’t care about marriage because that isn’t love robin is going through a crisis especially with him losing a parent one day he get up and yearn a woman & that she’s not fulfilling that she is just a child she knows this relationship is not long lived so she’s willing to have as many babies to secure her bag smh because she knows one day robin will wake up.”

Another person commented, “Yes. Celebrate the fact youre [sic] having another child with your boyfriend. You losers should get married.” Geary fired back to that user, “This ain’t the 1950’s. I don’t have to get married before having kids.”

Geary and Thicke began dating in 2015, months after the singer separated from his wife of 10 years, Paula Patton. Thicke and Patton share an 8-year-old son, Julian. After a contentious divorce, the two have apparently started to amicably co-parent. Patton told Entertainment Tonight in April that Julian loves being a big brother to Mia.

“It’s a great thing,” Patton said. “I think that family, no matter what — divided, [or if] it’s in new places — you have to find harmony and peace for your children. He is in that place right now and it’s a beautiful thing to see. He absolutely adores his little sister Mia.”
