Robin Thicke May Have Just Spoiled 'The Masked Singer' With His Recent Banana Tweet
We're not 100% sure yet, but Robin Thicke may have unintentionally revealed a major Masked Singer spoiler on Twitter last Wednesday.
Last week, The Masked Singer had to say goodbye to Tom Bergeron, who had been secretly performing as Taco. To show his appreciation to Tom, Robin posted a nice tweet about having the Dancing With the Stars host on the series. Oddly enough though, in the same tweet the "Blurred Lines" singer also brought up sending home Banana, who is still in the competition.
"I’m in a DARK SPOT after #BananaMask’s elimination... did the audience do the ripe thing? Either way wow what a treat to have @Tom_Bergeron on the show! #TheMaskedSinger," Robin quipped.
Catching the pun-filled blunder, Robin's fans correctly pointed out to the judge that Banana still has a shot at The Masked Singer trophy. "Hahahahaah TACO, Robin! Not Banana!!!" one Twitter user wrote back. "Isn’t he [Tom Bergeron] the taco?! I’m so confused Robin!" another said.
It makes us wonder whether Robin accidentally gave away that Banana will get eliminated next when he and the other remaining Group B singers — Frog and Kitty — take the stage again next month.
Regardless of Banana's fate, Masked Singer fans will get to enjoy watching Group C's singers — Astronaut, Bear, Night Angel, Rhino, Swan, and T-Rex — give it their all for the next three episodes. Once the top three singers of Group C are chosen, all the remaining contestants — including White Tiger, Turtle, and Kangaroo from Group A — will go head to head for the title.
Given the crazy amount of talent we've seen so far, season 3's finale later this spring is poised to be more insane than ever. The only question is ... will Banana be a part of it?
