Here's everything you need to know about Robin from Stranger Things season 3...

*Major spoilers for season 3 of Stranger Things below!*

What is Robin's story?

Many fans have known that Robin would be appearing in this season of Stranger Things and working alongside Steve at the brand new Starcourt Mall as part of the Scoops Ahoy! ice cream shop. Robin looks like she hates her job, but seems to have a good relationship with Steve. When Dustin returns from summer camp and discovers a secret Russian code on his radio, she uses her language skills to help decipher what it says.

After discovering the secret Russian base underneath the mall, Robin works alongside Dustin, Steve, and Erica to find out what they are working on. She ends up stuck in the base alongside the rest of the team and is eventually taken by the Russians with Steve as they try to help Dustin and Erica escape.

Eventually, Dustin and Erica return to help save Robin and Steve and get them out of the base. However, they end up getting drugged with a special truth serum, leading Dustin and Erica to keep them in a safe place before getting ready for the final battle. Robin and Steve end up bonding after revealing their secrets, with Steve admitting he has feelings for her and Robin telling him that she's actually gay. She also said that she hated Steve when they were in school together because the girl she had a crush on liked him instead.

Steve and Robin eventually get the drugs out of their system and end up reuniting with Dustin and Erica and leaving the mall after the first battle, officially forming the Scoops Troop. They head over to the hill where Dustin built Cerebro, a super-powered radio, to help relay information to the rest of the teams. Realizing they weren't doing much to help, she heads back with Steve to help the rest of the team who was left behind and ends up saving Nancy and Jonathan from being killed by Billy and the Mind Flayer. The end up joining up with them and escaping the mall, driving to an unknown location before reuniting with everyone else after the final battle.

What's next for Robin?

After the Battle of Starcourt, Robin and Steve continue their friendship and end up applying for a job at the local video story. While Robin ends up getting hired right away for her knowledge of movies, Steve gets rejected for not being able to name his favorite films. Robin convinces the manager, Keith, to hire him and they each celebrate their new jobs.

Some of the characters that we know and love are moving away, which means Robin will likely become a key part of the group that is left behind in Hawkins. Also, because she was part of the Scoops Troop, there's a good chance she has a good relationship with Dustin and Erica after learning all their similar interests.

Who plays her?

Maya Hawke has been breaking out into the acting scene ever since she scored her first role as Jo March in the 2017 adaptation of Little Women. Maya, whose parents are Hollywood superstars Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman, dropped out of Juliard after she got the role. She is also set to appear in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, along-side Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio.
