Robin Roberts is officially married. The Good Morning America host wed her longtime partner—and now wife—of 18 years, Amber Laign, in a beautiful ceremony on September 8. The intimate wedding was held in the newlyweds’ gorgeous backyard in Farmington, Connecticut, where they were surrounded by fresh flowers, moss, candles, and of course—a whole lotta love.

On Instagram, Roberts shared a few stunning photos from the big day. She called their September nuptials “magical”—and by the looks of the ceremony, it truly was. According to their wedding planner, JoAnn Gregoli, who shared details with People, the couple danced their first dance to a violin rendition of “Can You Feel the Love Tonight.” Then, Roberts’s siblings surprised her by walking out to “This Is How We Do It” before toasting her and Laign’s marriage (you don’t want to miss the amazing video).

Our own editor at large, Gayle King, was in attendance, sharing on Instagram that Roberts and Laign’s love story is “one of the best.” See Gayle’s fabulous pictures (including videos of the newlyweds digging into their chocolate and red velvet cake—and having fun on the dance floor) below.

The at-home wedding was full of other sweet details, like the edible “love wins” drink toppers and nods to the newlyweds’ family members who have passed away (including a medley of their parents’ favorite songs). Plus, the cake topper—a silhouette of Roberts, Laign, and their beloved dog, Little Man LuKas—was a special touch all their own.

The best part? The weather cooperated just briefly to ensure that Roberts and Laign could exchange vows outside. According to Gregoli, rain was pouring for most of the day, but there was a brief window of sunshine that lasted just long enough for them to walk down the aisle and say “I do.” If that’s not fate, then we don’t know what is.
