Robert De Niro Reveals His 6 Older Children Haven't Met His Newborn

Robert De Niro, 79, recently added a new addition to his family, a daughter named Gia, whom he shares with his girlfriend, Tiffany Chen, 45.

Along with the newborn, The Irishman actor has six other kids, including Drena, 51, and Raphael, 46, with his first wife, Diahnne Abbott, twin sons Julian and Aaron, 27, with Toukie Smith, and Elliot, 25, and Helen, 11, with Grace Hightower.

While speaking with People, when asked if any of his older children have met the baby, the actor replied: "Not yet, but they will.”

During the conversation, De Niro also discussed what he would be doing for his first Father's Day as a dad of seven, explaining that he was "just gonna spend it with the kids and all that."

The actor and his girlfriend welcomed Gia at the beginning of April. Around the same time, De Niro's friend and frequent co-star, Al Pacino, 83, also announced the expansion of his family with his fourth child, whom he shares with Noor Alfallah, 29.

De Niro said of the news while visiting the Today show on June 1, "God bless him. Very happy for him." Exactly two weeks later, on June 15, Pacino and his girlfriend announced the birth of their baby boy named Roman.

While celebrating his new baby girl, De Niro is still working, promoting his 2023 projects. This includes the comedy About My Father, which came out at the end of May, and the highly-anticipated Martin Scorsese film, Killers of the Flower Moon.
