Love is in the air for Robert Irwin.
On Friday, Oct. 20, the 19-year-old zookeeper gave fans a glimpse at his budding romance with Rorie Buckey. In the new upload to Instagram, the conservationist cuddled up to Buckey—the niece of late Oscar winner Heath Ledger—during an outing in the wild.
Alongside the post, Irwin lovingly wrote, "R + R 🌏."
Of course, it didn't take long for fans of Irwin to praise the peek into his personal life.
One fan wrote in the comments, "Hear that? That is the sound of millions of hearts being broken across the world 🌎💔 y'all are super cute though xoxo."
Another chimed in, "Happy for you!! (just fell to my knees sobbing)."
A third put it best when they noted, "I remember when you were itty bitty… now you’re handsome and all grown up with a beautiful lady at your side. I’m sure you’re dad approves and would be bawling his eyes out xD."
However, the top comment came from Irwin's sister Bindi Irwin, who appeared to give the couple her official stamp of approval. The mother of one penned in the comments, "Meant to be ❤️."
The late Steve Irwin's son has been linked to the 19-year-old college student since November 2022, when they were spotted spending quality time together in Queensland, Australia. However, the twosome didn't make their official red carpet debut until July 2023. For those who missed it, the pair hit the red carpet at the Sydney premiere for Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part One.
Since then, the duo has been inseparable, with Buckey joining Irwin on many of his nature adventures. In fact, during one September camping outing, Buckey filmed as Irwin let a "chill" python slither up his face.
Sounds like Irwin has met his perfect match.
