After 22 seasons on Restaurant: Impossible, chef Robert Irvine is turning his attention from struggling restaurants to homeowners in need of a helping hand. His one-hour special, Renovation Possible, aired on HGTV on August 16, and Robert is asking fans for a bit of help himself.

Robert explained that he's on a new mission to help homeowners "put an end to their renovation procrastination." The special found Robert, along with designer Lauren Makk and contractor Clay Nelson, helping a cardiac nurse and single mother of three with her outdated floor plan.

Robert opened up to his fans on X (formerly known as Twitter) and asked them to tune in and spread the word. The show is currently a one-episode special, but he's hopeful that with enough viewers, it can become a regular series. He wrote, "Raise your if you're tuning in to the special #RenovationPossible this Wednesday at 8p ET premiering on HGTV! The more who watch the better chance we can do some more episodes!"

Fans left encouraging messages about the episode, like "This world needs your voice, charm and smile to lead the way. @hgtv thank you for giving us this. #RenovationPossible. #TeamIrvine will not let you down."

Another viewer said, "This show has it all heartwarming stories, jaw-dropping transformations, and a true hero in Robert. Watching him rally to assist a single mom juggling nursing and home renovation - simply awe-inspiring! This show needs to becomes a permanent fixture on #HGTV's lineup! #RenovationPossible."

A representative from HGTV confirmed that Renovation Possible is a "one-hour linear special." At this time, it is not available to stream on Max or Discovery+. Viewers whose providers offer video on demand (like some cable providers, Fubo, or Philo) may be able to watch the show that way.

According to Good Housekeeping, Restaurant: Impossible will not be returning to Food Network. We'll cross our fingers that HGTV decides to bring Robert back for a regular series.
