Rob Lowe Called Out John Stamos on Instagram This Summer and Fans Are Still Not Over It

'80s and '90s kids, we're still laughing over this hilarious exchange between Rob Lowe and John Stamos from earlier this summer.

In a photo uploaded on Instagram, The 9-1-1: Lone Star actor had a lot to say when his youngest son John Owen dedicated a Father's Day post to the Full House alum. How did Rob's kid pull it off? He shared a Men's Health cover snapshot of himself and his dad and pasted a photo of the Never Too Young to Die actor over his father's face. To really seal the deal, Owen brought the laughs by praising Stamos for how much of a parental figure he is to him.

"Happy Father’s Day, big guy," Owen wrote on June 18. "Love you forever. Couldn’t ask for a better role model or better genes. ❤️."

As fans know, the Unstable star and his son often tease each other on social media, which makes this all the more hilarious. But of course, Rob couldn't let Owen get away with all the fun.

"HA! 😂," Rob wrote in the comments. "@johnstamos it’s time you come get this kid."

While John never publicly responded to Rob's shoutout, fans couldn't get over the entire exchange. "So funny. Nice work, Johnny!" one person wrote on Instagram. "The resemblance is uncanny!! 😍," another jested. "This is my favorite time of the year for this exact reason 😂," a different follower laughed.

This bit comes amid a jam-packed summer for both Rob and Stamos. Apart from being silly on Instagram, Rob has been busy hosting the Team Coco Literally! podcast (featuring his wife, Sheryl). What's more, he also appeared recently on the 2 Bears, 1 Cave podcast. And then there's Stamos, whose summer highlights include performing with The Beach Boys over the July 4th holiday at the iconic Hollywood Bowl.

And yet, they're still finding ways to squeeze in a few friendly jabs here and there. You love to see it!
