Roanoke Parks & Recreation bringing top local artisans to Explore Park for Artisan Saturday

ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR)– Roanoke County Parks, Recreation and Tourism is inviting the community to attend their annual Artisan Saturday at Explore Park on Saturday, June 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This yearly event showcases the talents of local artisans and offers a unique opportunity to explore and purchase handmade crafts, art pieces, and more.

RCPS’s Summer Food Service Program to provide children with free, healthy meals

Along with beautiful locally made crafts, the vent will feature live music by Marc Baskind, raku demonstrations by the Blue Ridge Potter’s Guild, activities for children, ice cream, Bike Demonstrations, and ziplining at Treetop Quest.

The Twin Creeks Brewpub will be serving beverages from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.
