"Riverdale" Stars Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes, and Madelaine Petsch Team Up for Game of Charades
From vacation bonding to showing each other love on Instagram, the Riverdale stars are obviously pretty close off-screen. On Saturday, January 12, they took their friendship to an whole new level with — wait for it — a high-stakes game of charades.
Instagram stories from Lili Reinhart and Camila Mendes offer evidence of the nail-biting competition. Lili’s starts with a candid of she, Camila, and costar Madelaine Petsch getting cozy on a couch. It then cuts to a clip of a zoomed-in Camila saying “Cranium: dark,” perhaps paying homage to the classic boardgame, which includes charades as part of game play. Lili’s IG updates end with Camila jumping up and down as her fellow castmates shout ideas of what she’s hoping to act out — honorable mentions include “elliptical,” “bunny,” and “this is me on a pogo stick.”
Camila’s story focused on Lili’s goofiness in return, featuring clips of her own charades performances. Camila went so far as to call Lili’s rendition of fish and chips an “interpretive dance,” and honestly, you’ll probably agree after you watch it. Who else could so gracefully act out a literal food?
Taking my FOMO out of the equation, Riverdale’s cast members always seem to have the best time hanging out. The stars frequently share photos of their time together, and it looks like there’s truly never a dull moment. For proof, look no further than KJ Apa’s NYE ’gram of his “lads.” We also can’t forget Lili’s amazing photoshoot with costar and BF Cole Sprouse. We may be two weeks into January, but I’ve just decided that my New Years resolution is to find a friend group like this.
