"Riverdale" Introduced Kelly Ripa as Hiram Lodge's Mistress and She Unsurprisingly Killed It
Warning: Riverdale spoilers ahead.
Hiram Lodge has done A LOT of bad things on Riverdale, but cheating on Hermione was never one of them...until now. In episode 11, we finally get to meet Ms. Mulwray, Hiram's mistress, played by none other than Mark Consuelos' IRL wife, Kelly Ripa.
Kelly has been part of the Riverdale family for years. She often has the cast over to her house for get-togethers, and even succumbed to Mark's new family, putting them on the front of last year's Consuelos-Ripa holiday card. Now, she's actually joining the cast, in the role she was born to play.
Unsurprisingly, Kelly was very convincing in the role of Ms. Mulwray, though unfortunately, she didn't actually interact with Hiram at all in the episode since it's difficult to hang out with someone in a coma. Instead, Ms. Mulwray got a visit from ace detective Jughead Jones, who was looking into the shooting of Hiram Lodge. When he questioned Hermione, she admitted that she was previously mad at Hiram because she found out he was having an affair. She asked him to end it and he did-or at least he claimed to.

When Jughead goes to see Ms. Mulwray, he finds out that she's a health and sanitation inspector sent to inspect Riverdale's water after all of the seizures in town. Though Ms. Mulwray's report says the water is clean, she wrote a letter to the Governor saying the water was dirty and Riverdale should be put under quarantine. So, as Jughead suspects, Ms. Mulwray "either lied to the Governor" or "faked that report...or both."
Either way, Ms Mulwray is very obviously in the Man in Black's pocket, and the fact that she's still staying at the Five Seasons on Hiram's dime means they're probably still fooling around, even though he told Hermione otherwise. I would guess there's still more of Ms. Mulwray to come.
