Ritz Has Released Tabasco-Flavored Chips and Our Fiery Hearts Are Swooning

Hungry for a snack? You're a Southerner, if you're anything like us, a need for heat practically pulses in your snack time veins. Spicy slow cooker Chex Mix? Yes, please. Corn and Jalapeño dip? Make that a double batch. Alabama fire crackers? Stop teasing us.

Now, we've got a new line of defense in the spicy snacks universe and it's a mashup of two of our favorite things: Ritz crackers and Tabasco sauce. For your snacking delight, the Ritz and Tabasco brands have teamed up to unveil Ritz Crisp & Thins Seasoned with Tabasco Pepper Sauce Flavor. These oven-baked crisps have just the right amount of spice built into each potato-and-wheat chips. According to the company press release, they also have 50% less fat per serving than the leading fried potato chips (also worth noting: 21 chips clocks in at a modest 130 calories). To pick up some of these tasty crisps for your personal snacking stash or your next gathering with friends, you can buy a 7.1-ounce bag at major retailers nationwide for a suggested retail price of $2.87.

If you enjoy the Tabasco-flavored chips and want to try other chips in the lineup, there are several other flavors of Ritz's Crisp & Thins. Our go-tos include hits like barbecue, cheddar, and salt & vinegar. (P.S. If you are a Tabasco sauce aficionado, be sure to check out 11 Things You Didn’t Know About Tabasco.)
