Rita Ora is seen arriving to NBC's 'Today' show at Rockefeller Plaza on Feb. 15, 2024, in New York City.

Rita Ora has shared some opinions on concert etiquette that seemed to confuse the hosts of The View.

The British singer made a guest appearance on the talk show on Friday, Feb. 16, to discuss her roles on the U.S. and U.K. versions of The Masked Singer and the reasons she feels it is important to own the masters of her recordings. She joined the show just one day after she joined Today’s Hoda Kotb as a last-minute guest host on Today With Hoda & Jenna.

As Ora chatted with the group, co-host Joy Behar brought up a Stevie Nicks concert she attended recently and the debate it inspired backstage among her fellow co-hosts. The show later shared a clip of their conversation on Instagram.

“The debate was, people keep standing up in front of me,” Behar explained. “It was annoying.” Behar said she doesn’t always “mind” when concert attendees stand up to dance at a seated show, but she doesn’t understand why fans feel the need to do so during slower songs.

“During a ballad, they have to stand up?” Behar asked, urging the performer to weigh in with her thoughts on the matter.

But the “Let You Love Me” songstress disagreed with Behar’s opinion as she shared her own hot take on concert behavior.

“I love going to a concert,” Ora, 33, said. For the concertgoers who “don’t stand up” while at a show, Ora said they “might as well just watch it at home.”

The View co-host Ana Navarro appeared to side with Behar’s opinion. For people in their “hot flash 50s,” Navarro said, “standing up for three hours is a lot.”

Navarro was also quick to reject Ora’s suggestion of wearing comfortable footwear while attending shows. “Oh no,” Navarro told her. “We don’t do comfy shoes.”

Ora later acknowledged that she agrees it can be “annoying” when she watches a performance and a fellow concertgoer blocks her view.

“I get it,” she said. “But it’s all about your comfortability.”
