Riley Keough's husband is Ben Smith-Petersen, an Australian stuntman and actor—though she describes him a bit differently.

"My husband is such a good person," the Runaways star wrote in Vogue Australia in 2022. "He's calm and loyal and strong and sensitive. He's my best friend." Aw!

Does Riley Keough have a child?

It was revealed during memorial services for Keough's mother Lisa Marie Presley that she and Smith-Petersen have a daughter. He broke the news in his tribute to his late mother-in-law penned by Keough, saying, "I hope I can love my daughter the way you loved me, the way you loved my brother and my sisters."

What does Ben Smith-Petersen do?

Smith-Petersen is an actor and stuntman. He's appeared in Mad Max: Fury Road as the blind guitarist, as well as in Spark and Light with Keough and The Dead Thing. As a stunt performer, he's worked in blockbusters including Suicide Squad, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and more.

He also has a cameo in Daisy Jones and the Six. Keough teased to Entertainment Tonight, "I don't want to like spoil it, but the producers thought it would be funny if he was in that scene. They were like, 'Do you want Ben to do this?' And I was like, 'Yeah, that's hilarious.'"

How did Riley Keough meet Ben Smith-Petersen?

Keough and Smith-Petersen met while filming Mad Max: Fury Road in 2012, but didn't start dating until a year later when they had to do reshoots for the critically acclaimed movie.

She recalled in Vogue Australia that she realized he was "cute" and invited him over to a friend's house, where they had a drink and got to know one another, and Smith-Petersen taught her to salsa dance. The group then went swimming in a nearby bay, which she described as "really magic."

Keough knew early on that Smith-Petersen was The One for her.

"I don't see the future, but I know certain things are going to happen," Keough said on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. "Like when I met my husband, he came out of the gas station on our second date and I thought, 'I'm going to marry him and have kids with him.' I just knew. We didn't even say 'I love you' yet."

On their third date, they got tattoos together "for fun." Looks like they both knew early on that their love was permanent!
