Riley Keough Shimmers in Metallic Celine Gown at the Oscars After Party

While Austin Butler may not have won the Oscar for playing Elvis, Elvis's granddaughter Riley Keough looked like a star at the Oscars after party last night. Keough, who is currently the lead of Daisy Jones & the Six, wore a backless sequined Celine gown. She was joined by her husband, Ben Smith-Petersen.

Keough shared that she had been rooting for Butler all awards season. "I’m excited to see Austin," she said at the after party. "I texted him this morning and said good luck, and I’m so happy I’ll see him tonight."

The legacy of her grandfather has been alive and well recently: In Keough's show Daisy Jones & the Six, fans noticed that the guitar strap that Daisy uses is identical to one used by Elvis in 1968. "I do have a fun fact that Daisy's guitar is my guitar," Keough told BuzzFeed. "It was my personal guitar and I wanted to use it in the show."

While she has appeared in major films before, like Zola and Mad Max: Fury Road, her performance in Daisy Jones & The Six is catapulting her to a new level of fame. Inside the party, she posed with her Daisy Jones co-star Suki Waterhouse and Georgia May Jagger:

Waterhouse posted on TikTok that she got ready with Keough and their other co-star, Camila Morrone, writing, "the girlies running 4 hours late."

New episodes of Daisy Jones & the Six come out this Friday; there are only four episodes left in the series.
