We’ve always loved our mouths to boast pearly whites, but Rihanna is making a case for pearlescent lips, lids, and cheeks, too. RiRi stepped out in Paris this weekend with matchy pearl features and a sleek pony, and the look is elegant, cute, and sculpting all at once.

“She doesn’t need crazy makeup to be interesting,” says Kabuki, who does Rihanna’s makeup on the reg. “But if you do something strong on her, it’s not going to overwhelm her. She’s going to own it.” To get the look, look for cream products and soft powders that don’t dry shimmery (yes, shimmer and pearl is different.) We love Bite Beauty’s Opal Lip Gloss ($22) layered with a pinky nude lipstick, Dolce & Gabbana’s Perfect Mono Pearl Cream Eye Color in Innocence ($38), and Pat McGrath’s Phantom 003 highlighter kit ($72). Apply all over and get glowy.
