Rihanna Worked the Cash Register at a FENTY x PUMA Event, and the Photos Are Meme-Worthy

Rihanna is a national treasure. If she shows up anywhere—even McDonald's—it becomes a party. She was the best part of the 2017 Grammys even though she barely left her seat. (Watching her hold that bedazzled flask was endlessly entertaining.) That's why it's no surprise her appearance at a FENTY x PUMA event in Los Angeles on Tuesday (April 18) was so iconic. The ANTI singer stopped by to show some love for her new collection, but she didn't just promote the merch: She got behind the cash register and rung up diehard fans herself. Imagine being a member of the Navy and IRL Rihanna is ringing up your FENTY kicks. How do you continue life after that?
The photos (and videos!) of Rihanna playing cashier are hilarious, naturally. She did way more than check out customers: She gave a performance, complete with a microphone, champagne glass, and life-giving faces. One particular photo features her playing with a barcode scanner and giving a fan some seriously goofy side-eye.
The picture belongs in a museum, to be honest, but the chances of that happening are slim. So let's do the next best thing: Turn it into a meme—specifically, a meme about receipts. (Cue Whitney Houston saying, "I wanna see the receipts!") RiRi's face in this moment is the look we all give when we have receipts (a.k.a. proof something—or somebody— is sketchy).
