Rihanna is a true fashion fan. For years, she has used her platform to shed light on young cool creatives who are still flying under the radar, like South Korean talent Hyein Seo whose Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp graduation collection appeared on the Bad Gal’s back and propelled the designer into the spotlight. Take the recent look she’s worn by Ukrainian designer Marianna Senchina, or the sleek mules she’s worn by Dorateymur, a Turkish shoe designer based in London. She’s proven time and time again that her eye will travel far and wide for the latest fashions—and now, she has her sights set on Italy.

Last night, the singer-slash-beauty entrepreneur was spotted leaving a Fenty Beauty event in London. She committed to a head-to-toe ensemble in zingy yellow, but it was her bag choice that was the star of the evening: Rihanna carried a chic mini suede tote by Medea, a Milan-based label launched last year by two Italian sisters, Giulia and Camilla Venturini. (The line is named after Pier Paolo Pasolini’s 1969 film about the Greek mythological sorceress.) Riri has worn the brand before—she’s dedicated precious Instagram grid space to one of their bags—but this was her first high-profile appearance sporting one of their designs. She paired the streamlined style with similar canary-yellow pieces: an off-the-shoulder satin dress, strappy satin pumps, and ’90s-style tinted shield sunglasses that rounded out the graphic look.
