Rihanna Slayed Her 2018 Grammys Performance of 'Wild Thoughts'

It's been a good night for Rihanna at the 2018 Grammy Awards. After her album Anti was snubbed last year, she's cleaning up the house tonight. First the singer picked up a win for best rap/sung performance for her song "Loyalty" with Kendrick Lamar. Then the Internet went into a meltdown over her outfit. (If anyone can pull-off an all red leather lewk, it's Rih.) She followed that up with a riveting performance of "Wild Thoughts" with DJ Khaled and Bryson Tiller.

DJ Khaled kicked things off with a riff on his classic “Congratulations, you played yourself” line, before all eyes were on Rihanna. The pop icon dominated the stage with her smooth dance moves, even when it was someone else’s verse—even, in fact, when she wasn’t dancing. When she was, though, she led the entire troupe of backup dancers in choreography that was perfect for the summer hit.

Just look at these moves in action:

Despite scoring just one Grammy nomination this year (for "Loyalty" with Kendrick Lamar), Rihanna once again proved—as she always does and always will—that she is the true winner of every awards ceremony. Really though, how “Wild Thoughts” didn’t sweep the nominations is anyone’s guess.
