Rihanna Showcases the Beauty of Pregnancy in Tropical Maternity Photoshoot

Rihanna is currently expecting baby No. 2, but the superstar finally gave fans a look at her stunning maternity photoshoot from her first pregnancy with a social media post on May 18.

In a new Instagram gallery, the "Diamonds" songstress—born Robyn Rihanna Fenty—shared several professional captures, glistening in the sun while posing nearly nude, bare belly on full display. She wore only lacey underwear, body jewelry, and a pair of pointed toe pumps, proving that moms can be sexy, too.

"here’s a little series I call 'Rub on ya titties,'" she joked in the opening of the caption, drawing attention to the fact that she's holding her chest up in an effort to slightly cover herself in the shots.

For the project, the 35-year-old posed atop a balcony in a tropical setting, green foliage, palm trees, and crystal blue body of water making for a picturesque backdrop for the stunning destination shoot. The musical artist was born and raised on the Caribbean island of Barbados, but it's unclear whether the images were captured in her homeland, or elsewhere.

The Fenty Beauty and Savage X Fenty creator explained more about the pics in the caption of the social media upload: "in honor of my first pregnancy, embracing motherhood like a g, and the magic that this body made! Baby RZA… he in there not having a clue how nuts his mama is, or how obsessed he was bout [sic] to make me," she wrote, teasing "#maternityshoot2022 #tobecontinued."

Fans in the comment section went wild over the alluring photoset, which showcased the sheer natural beauty of childbearing.

"Unreal!!! 😍😍😍😍😍," Lori Harvey exclaimed, as one fan joked, "Listen you cannot do us like that!"

One guessed, "She's carrying a girl 💖," though no confirmation on a gender for the second babe has been revealed as of yet.

Several more simply dropped fire flame and heart-eyed emojis, or noted how "beautiful" and "stunning" the photos were.

Earlier this month, the official name of Rih's first child with beau A$AP Rocky was publicly released, right before the tot's first birthday on May 13. The couple named the baby boy RZA Athelston Mayer, celebrating his special day with a Wu-Tang Clan-themed party.
