Rihanna just spoke for the first time about her highly-anticipated Super Bowl halftime performance coming up next year.

In a new video, the "Umbrella" singer is seen telling a TMZ reporter exactly how she feels about the upcoming show, and hints and who might join her onstage.

"I'm nervous, but I'm excited," Rihanna says.

When the reporter asks the pop star if boyfriend A$AP Rocky will be the surprise guest, she gave the camera a peace sign and said, "Maybe, girl."

Rihanna's halftime show performance will mark her comeback to music after a long hiatus to focus on her brands Savage x Fenty and Fenty Beauty. It has also been six years since she last released an album, having dropped Anti in 2016.

The 2023 Super Bowl will take place on Sunday, February 12, 2023, at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

Rihanna confirmed last month, via an Instagram post, that she will headline the halftime show. The post included an image of her hand holding an NFL football. She captioned it simply with a period: "."

TMZ first reported that the NFL and Roc Nation had been in talks with the star to headline the big show. The outlet also pointed out the many potential singers who could be joining her onstage—basically anyone she has ever collaborated with on music.

The "Diamonds" received an offer to headline the halftime show years ago, but turned it down due to the NFL's treatment of player Colin Kaepernick, she said in a 2019 interview.
