Rihanna returns to long, chocolate brown hair from her pre-'Good Girl Gone Bad' days
Nothing that Rihanna does is anything short of show-stopping, which is why it comes as no surprise that she managed to debut an amazing new hairstyle on Tuesday night, just hours after releasing photos of Fenty Beauty’s new matte lipsticks.
In an Instagram story filled with exciting debuts, the singer-turned-makeup-mogul posted photos of herself getting ready for a night out with long, chocolate brown locks. The voluminous look is a departure from her usual short, wavy hair, and fans are loving it.

“Rihanna’s new hair extended my life span a few more years,” one RiRi Stan wrote on Twitter, while others commented on the throwback vibes they got from the waistlong hair paired with a fur coat. Overall, it seems like fans are most excited to see her returning to the aesthetic she rocked in 2006, while filming her hit “Unfaithful” music video.
The light-colored hair and sweeping side bangs paired with a black dress and strappy gold-detailed heels serve as a clear reminder of Rihanna’s look pre-“Good Girl Gone Bad.” And although the Fenty Beauty queen can do no wrong, fans are expressing just how right this look is.

Rihanna may be channeling her old self, but there’s no denying how far she’s come. Keep doing what you’re doing, Riri.
