Rihanna Praised Zendaya's Met Gala Look — and She Reacted Exactly How You'd

Zendaya just got Rihanna's nod of approval, and she's sending the love right back.
After the unofficial queen of the Met Gala took to Instagram to shout-out the actress’s stunning red-carpet look at the same event, calling her a “brown goddess,” Zendaya has taken to the very same forum to pay back the compliment. Only you’d have to be really looking for her response to find it. That’s because it’s buried in the current 7,600-and-counting comments on RiRi’s Instagram, which has since garnered 1.5 million likes.

“Thank you, thank you, thank you a million times over, I appreciate you so much,” Zendaya wrote on Rihanna’s shout-out. That’s not all: she also expressed her love and gratitude on Snapchat — which was later saved by the account @theshaderoom and posted to Instagram. Naturally, Zendaya freaked out over RiRi’s shout-out, as anyone would do when a living icon like Rihanna sends you praise.
“So...Rihanna just posted me. I repeat. This is NOT A DRILL. THIS IS REAL,” she said — read: screamed — in the post. “Guys, I’m going through it right now. I don’t know what to do. I never thought a post could mean so much to me in all my life. That post alone — my skin is clearing up. B*tch! I just got a check. Everything is going well.”
It’s pretty sweet to see their love fest for each other continue, not just because both figures share a lot in common, but because it’s all too rare to see female peers sending love to each other in an industry that often needlessly pits those same people against each other.
