Rihanna Just Stepped Out with a Bangin’ New Hairdo
Rihanna just found love in a hopeless place brand-new hairdo.
The 31-year-old singer-turned-designer has rocked everything from long red Poison Ivy–inspired locks to a piece-y bob. Even so, she’s been working the same long black shiny tresses for a hot minute now. Well, not anymore.
RiRi hit up her Fenty after-party at Paris Fashion Week last night with a new set of bangs.
The “Love on the Brain” singer has worked a bangs look before, but this is the first time we’ve seen her with a thick straight-across chop. And we have to say, her face-framing fringe really suits her. Of course, they could be clip in bangs, as Rihanna posted a photograph on her personal Instagram account earlier in the day without bangs. Her bangs, however, match the shade and sheen of her natural hair so well it seems unlikely. We’ll just have to wait and see if it’s a hair fling or the real thing.
Rihanna dressed up her haircut with a black Fenty Canadian tuxedo complete with Japanese denim with ankle slits and zippers ($550) and the oversize denim shirt ($560), which she wore as a sort of chic wrap shirt. (Leave it to RiRi to invent a new way to wear a shirt.) She carried a Balenciaga fanny pack purse ($790) and wore stretch rubber Fenty corset boots ($990) and enormous sunglasses to match her all-black ensemble.
From the looks of it, Rihanna is feeling her updated ’do and so are we. Now, if you’ll excuse us, we’re off to ask ourselves the same question as always: Should we get bangs?
