Rihanna Is Fully Committed to This Cozy Ugly-Pretty Airport Shoe

It’s no secret that Rihanna is a huge fan of Uggs. She loves the cozy, shearling-lined boot in all its different iterations. The singer has slipped on Y/Project’s crazy thigh-high versions, as well as the classic ankle styles while going to and from the airport. In other words, she makes them look unexpectedly cool, no matter the silhouette. Today, she was spotted arriving at JFK airport in New York wearing Uggs yet again, this time really leaning into the footwear’s travel-friendly appeal. Comfort is key when boarding a long-haul flight, after all.

Once again, she chose classic Uggs in the signature camel colorway, pairing the shoes with a causal getup: light-wash jeans, a black hoodie, and an oversized denim coat. She gave her look more of that bad gal pizazz accessorizing with a monogrammed top-handle tote by Christian Dior. (The chicest carry-on we ever did see.) Meanwhile, her large black sunglasses ensured she could get some secret shut-eye on the plane—or her private jet, that is.
