Rihanna and Drake Were Caught Teasing Each Other on Instagram

• Yesterday, friendly exes Rihanna and Drake were spotted exchanging playful banter in the comments section of DJ Spade's Instagram Live.

• The Fenty Beauty creator teased Drake for being thirsty, while the rapper shot back at Rihanna for not releasing any new music yet.

The friendly former flames were spotted exchanging playful banter with each other in the comments section of DJ Spade's Instagram Live yesterday. Screenshots from fans captured the entire interaction.

At one point, Drake addresses the Fenty Beauty founder by her first name, writing, "Robyn you can't buy him A one hot spot." He later adds, "DUB PLATE COME PRETTY LIKE A FENTY FOUNDATION."

Rihanna fires back dryly, "Give drake some water."

Drake takes the jab heartily, responding, "Hahahahhahahaha yo u have a bad attitude @badgalriri."

Later, Drake poked fun at Rihanna's lack of recent music releases. Her ninth studio album (or R9, as her dedicated fan base, the Navy, calls it) was initially expected to drop in 2019, which would have placed it nearly four years after her last album, Anti. Alas, the album was not released.

"Rihanna," the rapper commented. "Drop R12 right now."

Rihanna, who allegedly broke up with longtime boyfriend Hassan Jameel, recently rekindled her friendship with Drake. The exes were spotted hanging out at the Yams Day charity show at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn earlier this year.
