Rihanna Can't Stop Wearing This Sexy Pajama Trend, and It Starts at $18 on Amazon

You wear a slip dress to bed, Rihanna wears it for a night out on the town. That said, after seeing the singer's latest evening outfit, you might be inspired to wear yours on your next date night — or, actually, any summer evening adventure. More of those are on the horizon, and the soft, flowy, comfy (but still sexy) staple is the perfect happy medium between those comfy pajamas you've been living in and the going-out dresses you've probably been neglecting.
Rihanna being Rihanna looked as cool and edgy as ever while out and about in New York City on July 5. The hero piece of the look was a lace-y black $650 teddy-meets-slip dress hybrid from Vaquera. It was sheer and sexy in all the right places, with an entirely see-through back because, Rihanna! She styled the lace teddy with a Gucci shoulder bag, an extra-long pearl necklace, and a pair of black Manolo Blahnik slingbacks.
This isn't the first time the singer has worn lingerie on the streets. In fact, it's a style move that's quickly becoming her signature, and we expect to see a whole lot more of it this summer. In March, she wore a slip dress with a pair of statement boots. In late June, she opted for a sheer pink slip with a fuzzy bucket hat. And now, she went with a black lace number and heels. There's a lot of versatility when it comes to the sheets-to-streets staple, and you really can do no wrong when styling it. That's why we love it.
If you're just getting into the swing of dressing up, you're not alone. It can be frustrating, but it doesn't have to be hard. The easy thing is to reach for a slip dress á la Rihanna, style it as you wish, and head out the door.
