Rihanna's Official Savage x Fenty Show Trailer Has Us Dreaming About Lingerie

Rihanna is back—alas, not with music, but with another Savage x Fenty fashion show headed to Amazon Prime Video.

In August, the pop star and mogul officially announced via a teaser clip on Instagram that a third edition of her Savage x Fenty show is set to drop September 24, with exclusive viewing on Amazon Prime. Like its predecessors, this year’s show will “combine fashion, dance, music and iconic architecture, highlighting the newest assortment of Savage x Fenty styles through subtle-yet-impactful scenic elements, lighting and filming techniques,” per the brand’s website.

Since 2019, the “Umbrella” singer has transformed what’s expected of the traditional fashion show, incorporating live music, diverse casting, and interactive elements that have made the yearly showcase a regular highlight of the September fashion calendar. Previous Savage x Fenty shows have featured all-star casts of models, including Bella and Gigi Hadid, Slick Woods, and Irina Shayk, plus cameos from high-profile musicians like Lizzo, Normani, and Rosalía. If we can predict anything about next month’s presentation, it’s that Rihanna will be sure to raise the bar once again—and we should expect the unexpected.

On September 13, Rihanna dropped the official trailer for the show on her Instagram. It has us already dreaming about her coming lingerie collection. “Start making that guest list to ya watch party baby,” she wrote in the caption.

The trailer also announces that musicians Lil Nas X, Daddy Yankee, Bia, Jasmine Sullivan, Ricky Martin, Normani, and Jade Novah are set to perform at the event, bringing a ton more hype to the showing.

Emily Ratajkowski, Gigi Hadid, Vanessa Hudgens, and more will model.

In her teaser video, Rihanna reveals the long list of big-name models and stars who are set to walk in her lingerie. Among them: Adriana Lima, Alek Wek, Behati Prinsloo, Emily Ratajkowski, Erykah Badu, Gigi Hadid, Irina Shayk, Jeremy Pope, Leiomy, Lola Leon, Mena Massoud, Nyjah Huston, Precious Lee, Sabrina Carpenter, Thuso Mbedu, Troye Sivan, and Vanessa Hudgens.

The new Savage x Fenty collection is “baddie” energy.

The new collection has a special intention to empower all individual wearers. According to the brand, the collection features “strong lines that trace contours of the body and unconventional silhouettes that push the boundaries of individuality to bring out the baddie in everybody.”
