Rihanna’s red carpet style is back, baby. The multi-hyphenate and her beau A$AP Rocky turned heads at last night’s premiere for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The latest installation of the popular Marvel franchise will mark Rihanna’s long-awaited return to music, with Marvel Studios and the singer confirming yesterday that she’ll be contributing an original song to the movie’s soundtrack.

She celebrated accordingly: with her inimitable high-fashion sensibilities.

The star walked the carpet in a green-gray sequined strapless gown, with cornflower blue denim contrast stitching all throughout. The unique evening wear additionally included a dramatic asymmetrical draping feature sweeping across her waist and a subtle train. She accessorized with cream-colored slouchy opera gloves, gray heeled sandals, and a bedazzled ear cuff.

Of course, Rocky coordinated his look to Rihanna’s, showing off his own personal sense of style in the process. The rapper wore an all-gray denim-on-denim look, consisting of a jacket layered over a black T-shirt and baggy jeans. The back of his jeans extended out into its own mini train, matching the “Love on the Brain” singer’s dress. He finished the ensemble with white stud earrings and white-and-gray sneakers.

After Marvel announced that Rihanna would be making music for the upcoming Black Panther movie, the mogul shared a sneak peek at her comeback single “Lift Me Up” on Twitter. The 14-second clip features Rihanna humming along to instrumental music. The song—her first in six years—is due out tomorrow.
