Rihanna's L.A. Home Was Burglarized, and the Suspect Allegedly Stayed the Night

Rihanna had an intruder at her house in Los Angeles, authorities confirmed the to E! News. Thankfully, the star was not at her residence at the time of the incident.

The Los Angeles Police department says that a man was arrested arrested and booked on residential burglary and trespassing. According to TMZ, who first reported the news, the suspect allegedly spent the night inside her house. Officials reportedly became aware of the incident after her the home's alarm was tampered with.

Rihanna has owned the 7,130 square-feet home, which looks over the sunset strip, for less than a year. She purchased in August of 2017 for $6.8 million dollars.

In a recent Vogue article, Rihanna revealed that she spends most of her time in London, and most recently was in New York City for the Met Gala, which she co-chaired along with Amal Clooney.

The singer has yet to comment on the news of the burglary.
