With road racing, track, mountain biking, downhill, BMX and freestyle BMX World Championships all converging this week in Scotland, there are a lot of American riders who headed over to take part in the racing.
Here’s the Team USA rosters for Super Worlds. Buckle up, because it is a lot:
Road Race
Riders to watch include Brandon McNulty, Chloe Dygert and Coryn Labecki for the road race, and Amber Neben for the time trial. Dygert has already shown her chops on the track so far this week (more on that below). The road races had a bit of a shakeup after Veronica Ewers was injured during the Tour de France Femmes. Lily Williams took her place in the women’s field—but she’s also racing on the track at Worlds. Kristen Faulkner was also unable to race due to injury, as was Quinn Simmons on the men’s side. And in case you were wondering, there is no U23 women’s field at Worlds—they jump from Junior directly to Elite.

She is still listed on USA Cycling as a team member, though, so we’re including her here. Last year’s silver medalist at Worlds Justin Dowell will be competing in the men’s field.
