In the age of social media, One of the more popular types of short video is the basketball trick shot. The YouTube channel Dude Perfect has nearly 60 million subscribers just for their creartive trick shots!
It was only a matter of time until the trend came to mountain biking. See a collection of some of the best bike trick shots below.
In this video, Fabio Wibmer, Matthias Dandois, and Bora Altintas nail trick shots on their bikes.
It is hard to say which trick shot is the most impressive. Dandois (who is probably a legend at Dizzybat) nailed a shot despite spinning around three times. Altintas hit a no-look three while riding backward.
However, I need to give credit where credit is due. Wibmer’s tap-in off the rear wheel is far more impressive than any shot with the hands.
The Wibmer clip was from a longer video called Home Office. Filmed during the depths of Covid, Fabio did trials all around his house to mimic working from home. Watch the full video below.
