Rider Slams In Snowy Race

Mass start bike races on snow are becoming popular. They are frequently chaotic.

Watch Hugo Pigeon take a gnarly slam during one such race below. He is the rider in purple.

Hugo was racing in the Jura Sick mass start race when he blew a foot and had a drawn-out stumble before he eventually fell down hard. The fall just happened to be picked up by another competitor recording the race. Thankfully he was okay after that Crash.

Pigeon is a French Enduro racer who is a frequent top 20 finisher in the Enduro World Cup. Like many European racers, he has dipped his toe into the mass start genre as well.

The Jura Sick Race is a mass start event that takes place in France. Watch the mass start of some of the categories below.
