Ricky Gervais Will Host the Golden Globes This Year for the Fifth Time

From Good Housekeeping

It's that time of the year again! The Golden Globes marks the beginning of award season in 2020.

For the Golden Globes, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association recognizes the year's best performances and productions in film and television. This year, Ricky Gervais is backing hosting the ceremony for a record-breaking fifth time.

While some of the year's biggest films like Joker and 1917 will be battling for Best Picture, it's going to be a big night for TV shows from streaming platforms too. Amazon Prime has plenty of nominations for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, while Netflix's The Crown and Unbelievable are also being recognized this year.

If you're hoping to catch all the red carpet looks, inevitable awkward moments, and heartfelt speeches, here's all the info you need about tuning into this year's Golden Globes award show.
