Rick Owens and Moncler Welcome You to the Dark Side
Moncler is riding the collaboration train until the end of 2023, following on from its recent team-up with sacai to unveil the latest partnership: a collaboration with Rick Owens. Releasing for Fall/Winter 2023, the new collection sees the dynamic duo shift their focus to the future.
Reimagining Moncler's signature puffer and all its accoutrements into a darker and edgier offering, Owens' iteration draws from an inner demon, with models within the campaign pictured with haunting blacked-out eyes and eerie lighting. The collection features a range of cropped and full-length down jackets in deep black and delicate gradient colorways, crafted with adjustable buttons, exaggerated collars and quilted patterns.
Elsewhere, the collection includes cozy track pants, comfy shorts and must-have winter accessories like cashmere beanies, chunky boots, scarves and blankets. Completing the collaborative campaign is a distinctive "Sleep Pod" which acts as a tranquil backdrop for the directional pieces.
