Richard Branson Celebrated Pride in NYC and Announced a New LGBTQ+ Sailing on Virgin Voyages (Video)

Richard Branson’s latest venture, Virgin Voyages, hasn’t hit the seas yet, but the cruise line is already out to prove it knows how to throw a great party. Over the weekend, Branson and his Virgin Voyages crew celebrated WorldPride in New York City, and announced a new LGBTQ+ charter cruise.

At Pride, Branson hopped on a custom Virgin Voyages party bus for a bar crawl alongside Billy Porter, Courtney Act, Ginger Minj, and Deborah Cox.

The LGBTQ+ charter, in partnership with Atlantis Events, will set sail on the Scarlet Lady during the ship's inaugural season next year.

The exclusive voyage will feature a custom seven-night itinerary departing from Miami on May 31, 2020. It will makes stops in Key West, Florida; Cozumel/Playa Del Carmen and Costa Maya, Mexico as well as Bimini, Bahamas, home of Virgin Voyage’s Beach Club, a private club for guests (otherwise known as “sailors”) while onboard the Scarlet Lady.

Reservations for the cruise will go on sale in early July on AtlantisEvents.com.
