When you’re in charge of the sweet treats, we know it can be a lot of pressure. Choosing something everyone will love can be tricky, but there are a few options that will always be a crowd-pleaser. Any home baker knows you can never go wrong with classic chocolate chip cookies, brownies, and Rice Krispies Treats.

Homemade three-ingredient Rice Krispies Treats are some of the easiest things you can make—and there’s no baking required. But even when you don’t feel like making the sticky treat—because, let’s face it, your hands become their own Rice Krispies Treats by the end—the OG Rice Krispies Treat from the store still holds up. There’s a reason Rice Krispies treats are the most popular snack in the U.S., after all.

Opening your lunchbox to find that bright blue wrapper was always a highlight of any school day. And, even now, we can’t resist the classic marshmallow treat—or the upgraded Homestyle variety with those extra gooey marshmallows.

Many of us have been making our own renditions of Rice Krispies Treats for years. Whether using brown butter or adding extra ingredients, like M&M’s or chocolate and peanut butter (after the brand discontinued that flavor), there’s no Rice Krispy we would turn down.

Rice Krispies discontinued its chocolate and peanut butter treat flavor over 20 years ago. However, you can finally indulge in the sweet and salty treat again, thanks to the fans who've begged for the flavor's return for years.

Kellogg's created a new-and-improved recipe for the chocolate-peanut butter Rice Krispies Treat's comeback. The new snack is made with real peanut butter in the marshmallow treat and has a chocolatey layer at the base. It's the perfect combo of gooey, savory peanut butter, crispy cereal, and sweet chocolate in every bite.

The returning flavor is rolling out to shelves now and will be available at retailers nationwide. Look for the orange and blue box in seven-count and 14-count varieties soon.

Thank you, Kellogg's, for making our choco-peanut butter dreams come true again.
