The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is kicking off its fourth season tonight at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo, and there have certainly been some change-ups this time around (and I don't just mean Jen Shah's jail time). A brand, spanking new season might have you wondering which housewives are returning (hint: Not Jen) and which are fresh faces to the Salt Lake City crew this time around.

Well, first, Mary Cosby and Monica Garcia are returning, as "friends of" the cast. However, you may have noticed Angie Katsanevas, or Angie K.—who first identified as a “friend” of Jen Shah last season—has been bumped up to a full-time cast member.

It seems Angie made quite the splash as a friend, and formed close bonds with Lisa and Whitney. Close enough that she earned a spot on the roster. However, this season, there will be some swirling at the rumor mill regarding her relationship. She's also clearly not going to let bygones be bygones with the culprit. Here's what you need to know about what else is ahead for Angie concerning her work, friendships, relationship, and her role on RHOSLC.

Who is Angie K?

Angie K's full name is actually Angie Katsanevas, and there’s a little bit of info about her on the Bravo website. Last season, the reality network described her as “a business-owner, wife, and mother.” She’s was also seen as “ever loyal.” Bravo added this juicy nugget: “She always has her friends’ backs but will speak her mind when they cross her.”

Obvs, fans saw her main character traits in action last season on RHOSLC. It seems Angie's friendship with Lisa will remain strong this season. However, time will only tell.

What does she do for work?

Angie has been a hairdresser since she was 21, per Distractify, and currently owns Lunatic Fringe salon, a hair salon with nine locations throughout Utah, Idaho, and Ohio. The salon offers a “luxurious guest experience with multiple levels of talented stylists,” according to its website.

Angie founded the first salon in Salt Lake City in 1999 with fellow hairdresser Shawn Trujillo...who also happens to be her husband. The business boasts cutting, coloring, styling, extensions, and makeup among its services.

Who is Angie K.'s husband?

Shawn Trujillo and Angie K. have been together for over 24 years, according to Shawn's Instagram. They first met while working in a hair salon, according to Hair.com. And, despite their rocky relationship ATM—it seems the couple has a lot of love for each other.

"Her values and behaviors always align," Shawn wrote in an anniversary post last year. "She is strong in her convictions and did I mention the best mom on the planet?"

In addition to working at Lunatic Fringe, Shawn seems very interested in fitness. His Instagram bio reads "Mindset/fitness/business," and he posts lots of workout videos on his grid.

She has a daughter.

Angie’s 12-year-old daughter with Shawn, Elektra, is apparently a really good equestrian. And Angie loves playing the part of glowing, proud mama on Instagram, where she described her job's qualifications in May:

"Working 24/7. Interpersonal skills. Unlimited hours. Sleepless nights. Happy disposition. Negotiation skills. Standing on my feet all day. No breaks and No vacations," she wrote on Instagram. "I was in training for the most important job in the world with the highest return on investment. The title was Mom."

Angie has also lauded Elektra's hard work in the ring, where she most recently won the Arizona Winter Circuit. "Proud of our shining Star Elektra coming home a Champion," Angie wrote on Instagram.

Angie tried out for the show in the past, but didn't make the cut.

ICYDK, Angie actually auditioned for RHOSLC back in 2019, but she wasn't chosen to lead the Salt Lake City housewife crew.

In a post she shared on Instagram (which was later deleted but thankfully captured by Queens of Bravo), Angie posted a photo of herself and her daughter in matching shoes with the caption, "Did I make the cut for the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City you ask… The answer is No… But we got our matching Mommy and Me gear on just in case we got the callback."

Angie said she "should have answered YES when they asked if there was drama in the salons. I’m sure the women they chose are fabulous. We are Greek. We will find another event to wear our matching heels to," she added.

I guess she learned her lesson in time for season 4!

She loves a good photo shoot.

Angie’s Instagram is loaded with pics of herself and her family, including her husband and salon co-owner, Shawn Trujillo. Check these out:

What's her net worth?

Angie's net worth is not totally clear right now, but the U.S. Sun estimates it at around $5 million. Perhaps she will drop some easter eggs this season.
