'RHONY's Sai De Silva Is Just As Fabulous IRL As She Is On TV

The rebooted Real Housewives of New York really is, to quote Beyoncé, “that girl.” Season 14 of the Bravo mainstay premiered on Sunday, and the brand new cast is certainly providing adequate glam, expensive clothing, and, of course, lots of really ridiculous (and cheesy) drama for all the folks watching at home.
Six new women, including fashion blogger Sai De Silva, quickly captivated viewers with their vibrant lives in the Big Apple. Of course, there have already been two fights in Episode 1. And Sai is at the center of it all, ready for chaos to ensue.
During the premiere, Sai, along with her friend and verified pot-stirrer Brynn Whitfield, tell fellow housewife Erin Dana Lichy that they can’t make dinner because they are "too tired." However, they later post an IG from a different restaurant (Casa Cipriani). Their explanation? Brynn wouldn’t be "caught dead" at the restaurant Erin chose (which may or may not be Catch NYC) because it’s "not 2012." Talk about throwing some shade.
Then, Brynn says that Sai told Erin that it was “weird” that she was eating cheese at her dinner party. Sai denies this, and says she loves cheese... A point she proves repeatedly in the premiere, munching on cheese whenever she has the chance. If your head is spinning, you should just watch the episode. It’s a true delight.
Before getting too far into the season, let’s meet Sai De Silva. Here's everything to know about the new Bravo-lebrity, from her husband to her adorable kids and job.
She was born in LA and raised in New York.
While Sai is a Brooklyn girl at heart, she was born in Los Angeles, according to The Sun. She moved to New York when she was 2. Bravo's bio on the Brooklyn-raised Housewife notes that she is “honest and straightforward, Sai's friends would say she's ‘as New York as it gets.’"
During Episode 1, Sai talks about her memories of growing up in Brooklyn and how she never dreamed of living in the kind of big, beautiful brownstone she now inhabits with her family.
She’s married to David Craig.
Sai and David married in 2009 in a private ceremony, per Yahoo. David manages the couple’s household while Sai pursues her career, per Bravo. And unlike his wife, David is definitely not one for the spotlight.
“He likes his privacy,” Sai writes in her blog, per Bravo. “In a world where we share everything, it’s nice to have something that is private in my life.”
While David hasn’t appeared on Sai’s social media or blog (more on that in a moment) he will appear on the show, Sai shared on the TODAY Show. “He’s not on social media so he has no idea what people are saying, what anyone is discussing. He’s just showing his face and showing support for his wife,” the Housewife shared during the appearance.
When asked by PEOPLE what the secret to a good marriage was, Sai simply answered: “Have sex.” So, I'm guessing these two keep it pretty spicy!
Sai has two kids.
Sai and David share two truly angelic children–London Scout, 10, and Rio Dash, 6.
FWIW, these are excellent children-of-housewife names. And in the premiere, London and Rio are well behaved and sweet, which was lovely to see. Literally, Brynn says her friend's kids make her want to have kids.

She's 42 years old. Last year, it looks like she celebrated her birthday with a whole lot of sparkle, which feels totally on par for her.

Sai’s net worth has not been confirmed, but she definitely has a healthy social following, with more than 50,000 YouTube subscribers and 415,000 followers on IG (and climbing!). Gossip Next Door estimates Sai is worth about $1 million, but the real number is TBD.
