'Honestly, I’m lucky to be alive. Scariest moments of my life.'

Former Real Housewives of Orange County star Kelly Dodd's husband, Rick Leventhal, is updating fans from his hospital bed following a serious car crash earlier this week.

Leventhal, 62, shared a video with followers via Instagram on Tuesday, Jan. 10, updating fans on his condition.

“So lucky to be alive & grateful for the well wishes & care I’m getting. 4 broken ribs, fractured bone right foot, wounded pride. So far that’s it,” he wrote in the caption.

In the clip, the former Fox News reporter attempted to explain what led to the wreck, saying he was traveling in rainy conditions on the I-10 freeway, just outside of Palm Desert, California, when he "hit, what felt like a patch of ice."

"Road was slick. Lost control and slammed into the wall hard," he continued, "Started spinning around across lanes of traffic and slammed right into the back of a tractor-trailer… My window busted, both airbags deployed, I think I might’ve broken my ribs from the airbags."

The driver of the truck later helped Leventhal out of his totaled car and to safety.

According to Deadline, his wife was not present at the time of the accident. The outlet reported Dodd, 47, shared photos from out of state via her Instagram Story—the now-deleted posts tying the former Real Housewife to Aspen, Colorado—as Leventhal arrived at the emergency room.

Prior to her husband's most recent update, Dodd, who joined the Bravo franchise for Season 11 only to be fired over her controversial social media posts after Season 15, pleaded with fans to "please say prayers for @rickleventhal," in a Jan. 10 Instagram post that also included images of the horrific crash.

"Honestly I’m lucky to be alive. Scariest moments of my life. This makes everything even more meaningful ❤️," Leventhal later commented.

Since sharing the news many former and current Bravo stars have sent well-wishes, Dodd's former RHOC co-star Vicki Gunvalson, wrote, "Oh no! Thank God he is ok. Praying for a speedy recovery."

"So frightening sending prayers 🙏🙏🙏❤️," added Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member Margaret Josephs.

RHONY OG Ramona Singer also shared her love with a simple "🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏."
