'RHOC' Brings Back 2 Famous Housewives and Makes History

If you want to talk about old school Real Housewives, then you have got to be talking about The Real Housewives of Orange County (RHOC). The series was the first of the larger franchise to air way back in March of 2006, and while dozens of other Housewives series have popped up in cities around the world, there's still something delicious about that original recipe.

Now the orange-holding housewives are back for a record-breaking 17th season. Some old faves are returning, some new Californians are joining the cast, and you know there will be plenty of dinner party shouting matches to enjoy. Here's everything we know about Season 17 of The Real Housewives of Orange County.

Season 17 of RHOC will include six members in the main cast along with one "friend of the housewives." The cast includes:

Tamra Judge

After Season 14 of RHOC, Judge was fired from the show, supposedly due to her asking price being too high. However, Judge never wanted to leave the show and quickly reappeared on the second season of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip with fellow RHOC alum Vicki Gunvalson, who also exited the franchise after Season 14. Following her two seasons off, however, Bravo must have coughed up the money Judge needed, because she's back for Season 17 of the show.

Heather Dubrow

Heather Dubrow is back for her sophomore season...a second time. The actor and wife to famous plastic surgeon Terry Dubrow, was originally a cast member of RHOC from Season 7-11 before exiting. She then returned last season in part because she wanted the platform to highlight what it looks like to parent LGBTQ+ kids. Now she's back again, and it will be interesting to see her paired back up with Tamra, since she was with mostly new cast members last season.

Shannon Storms Beador

The elder statesman of RHOC is now Beador, who has been on the show since Season 9. Beador was at odds with a number of her fellow cast members last year, and the reunion certainly didn't end in a great place for her and fellow housewife Gina Kirschenheiter. We'll see if the drama continues into Season 17.

At only 38 years old, Gina is the youngest woman on this year's cast, but certainly not the newest as both her and Emily Simpson joined the cast during Season 13. After her rocky relationship with Shannon last season, she appears to again be at the center of the drama in Season 17.

The attorney of the show is back again for her fifth season, and it should be interesting to see her back in the mix with Tamra, after the two didn't hit it off well when Simpson arrived on the show. Both women are in different places in life after Judge's hiatus, but we shall see how things go.

Jennifer Pedranti

This year's fresh meat is Jennifer, a yoga studio owner and mother of five. While she's brought into the show as a friend of Tamra's, the trailer makes it seem like that relationship won't be too long for this world. With several recent one-season housewives on RHOC, time will tell if Jennifer is long for this world as well.

Taylor Armstrong

In a historic move, one of the original housewives from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is switching franchises. This is the first time we've seen a franchise shift and after several years off the show, Armstrong will be returning this season as a "friend of the housewives."
