Revlon Names Gal Gadot Its New Brand Ambassador

Turns out Gal Gadot gave us a sneak peek of her new gig last night at the 2018 Golden Globes. The Wonder Woman actress (and presenter for the evening) stepped out onto the red carpet wearing a gorgeous garnet-red lip color that was a shade from Revlon's Super Lustrous Lipstick Lipstick line. This afternoon — just two days after the awards show — Revlon has named Gadot as their newest brand ambassador.
The news was announced both at an event at the New York Edition Hotel where Gadot greeted beauty editors and posed for selfies, as well as the star's own Instagram account. "So happy to announce that I've joined the @Revlon family and am helping to launch the #LiveBoldly campaign. Stay tuned...it's going to be beautiful!" she writes in the caption. According to the brand's website, Revlon's Live Boldly campaign "is designed to inspire women to express themselves with passion, optimism, strength, and style. And what better embodiment of all those qualities than Gal Gadot." The pairing also makes sense for Gadot thanks to a personal connection with the brand: Growing up, the actress's mother and grandmother both used Revlon religiously.
Gadot will join Gwen Stefani, the brand's current brand ambassador, and follows in the glamorous footsteps of past celebrity spokespeople, a talented list that includes Emma Stone, Olivia Wilde, Julianne, Moore and Halle Berry.
"I'm very happy to be a part of a brand that empowers women," Gadot told editors this morning; while we can't wait to see what the Live Boldly campaign has in store.
