The Cali Pass just got a major upgrade in time for ski and snowboard season.

Thanks to a new partnership between the California Mountain Resorts Company (CMRC) and Accesso Technology Group, a technology solutions provider for attractions, the Cali Pass which provides access to four of CMRC’s mountains — Bear Valley, Dodge Ridge, China Peak, and Mountain High — for one fee will now have realtime lift updates, weather forecasts, discounts and more, the company shared with Travel + Leisure.

The pass, which initially launched in the spring of 2023, also includes three days at each of the nineteen Powder Alliance destinations around the globe. That includes mountains like Sierra at Tahoe, Marmot Basin, Silver Mountain Resort, Loveland Ski Area, Mt. Hood Ski Bowl, and Mt. Shasta Ski Park.

To purchase the revamped pass, users are directed to choose their home mountain and select the “Cali Pass” upgrade from there. Prices will fluctuate throughout the season, but right now, adult passes at Dodge Ridge, Mountain High, and China Peak are $899, including the upgrade. Those interested in Bear Valley can call directly at 209-753-2301. If you already purchased an individual mountain season pass, you can add the Cali Pass for $149 (again, prices will fluctuate throughout the season).

Acesso and CMRC are also launching a mobile app for each of the four mountains (in addition to the Cali Pass app). The apps, the two companies said, will help users better “explore, engage, and enjoy skiing — both across California and around the world.”

“Our partnership with Accesso aligns with our commitment to delivering exceptional guest satisfaction and ensuring our mountains remain go-to destinations across the globe,” John McColly, the vice president of sales and marketing for CMRC, shared in a statement. “These five apps are filled with tools, tips, and insider tricks to make each guest’s visit even more special. Whether they’re partial to a single resort or exploring all our areas, guests can capture every exciting moment on the mountain and create memories that will last a lifetime.”

In each app, users can also manage their Cali Pass access track their personal ski stats, and even visualize the mountains in 3D to choose their next route. Guests can also opt to track their friends and family on the mountain, join private chats, and navigate the food offerings at each mountain. With the individual apps, users can also get exclusive discounts on and off the mountain.
